Ok, this step is VERY simple. The FlashVideo module runs using the very awesome Flash Player designed by Joroen Wijering. There are actually two good reasons that I didn't package this Flash Player with the FlashVideo module. The first one being that there are many re-releases with this Flash Player and trying to synchronize the FlashVideo releases with this release schedule would prove to be rather painful... The second reason is simply licensing reasons permit me to do so. What this means for you is that you will need to do this step manually. However, it is very easy. The first step is to simply follow the following link to download the Flash Player.
Now that you have downloaded the Flash Player package, there is really only ONE file within that entire download that we are interested in, and it is called flvplayer.swf, but the default for the FlashVideo module actually uses the name Player.swf. So, the first step that you will need to do is rename the flvplayer.swf file to Player.swf and then place that file in root files directory of your Drupal installation. For example, if you Drupal installation resides at /public_html/drupal, then your Player.swf file will need to reside at /public_html/drupal/files. Any sub folders containing videos will then just reference that single player in that root files directory... And that's it!! You are ready to move on!
- Step 1: Get FFMPEG
- Step 2: Set up your php.ini file for FlashVideo
- Step 3: Get the FlashVideo Module
- Step 4: Download Joroen Wijering's Flash Player <-- You are here!
- Step 5: Set up a Cron Task
- Step 6: Create a Content Template.
- Step 7: Create your Page!

In the latest version of the flashplayer...
... the file name is not mediaplayer.flv and not flashplayer.flv
If I'm following this correctly (I'll know soon enough!) that is the file you have to rename to Player.flv and upload to your /files folder.
